P.E.A Plus

Palmitoylethanolamide (P.E.A) is a naturally occurring fatty acid amide produced by the body in response to tissue stress and increased inflammatory demand. It is present in mammals, including dogs and cats, and plays a recognised role in supporting normal cellular communication pathways involved in maintaining physiological balance (homeostasis).

P.E.A is particularly active in pathways associated with nerve signalling, inflammatory regulation and mast-cell activity - systems that influence comfort, mobility and skin health. Under ongoing physical or environmental stress, endogenous (internal) P.E.A levels may become insufficient, which is why dietary supplementation has been investigated as a way to support these normal regulatory processes.

P.E.A Plus provides ultra-micronised P.E.A combined with sunflower lecithin to enhance absorption and bioavailability. The formulation is designed to support everyday comfort, mobility and skin health, and to help maintain overall quality of life as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Each 500 mg scoop contains:
200 mg Ultra-micronised P.E.A
300 mg Sunflower lecithin

Give 1 flat scoop per 10kg of body weight once or twice daily in food, or as recommended by your animal healthcare professional.

CAT DOSING
P.E.A Plus is also suitable for cats.
As a general guide, give 1/2 flat scoop once daily in food.

Storage

Store below 30 C in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed.
Keep out of reach of children.

Published studies indicate that P.E.A has good-to-excellent tolerability. No serious side-effects or adverse interactions have been reported in humans or dogs with the use of P.E.A.
