Collagen Forte is designed to be used daily to support the growth and development of healthy connective tissues, joints, ligaments, bone, and skin.
Providing Collagen Forte may help to maintain adequate levels of collagen in the body and ensure that connective tissues stay flexible and joints strong.
Collagen Forte maintains healthy intestinal epithelial barrier function by providing the bioactive collagen peptides or ‘building blocks’ essential to epithelial cell integrity.
Research shows the beneficial effect of orally administered collagen peptides such as those found in Collagen Forte for dogs with osteoarthritis.
Collagen itself is hard to digest, so for dogs to take advantage of its natural benefits it needs to be processed into collagen peptides for enhanced bioavailability. This process, known as ‘hydrolyzation’, involves breaking down the molecular bonds between individual collagen strands and turning them into small peptides, which can then be digested and absorbed by the body.

INGREDIENTS

FORTIGEL® 100% pure hydrolysed bioactive collagen peptides (bovine)

DIRECTIONS FOR USE & STORAGE

1 scoop = 1 teaspoon = approx. 2 grams of powder

Body weight	1 - 5 kg	6 - 10 kg	11 - 25 kg	26 - 44 kg	> 45 kg
Dose	½ tsp	1 tsp	2 - 3 tsp	3 - 4 tsp	5 - 6 tsp

Give the recommended dose once daily in food, or as recommended by your animal healthcare professional. Allow four to six weeks for best results.

CAT DOSING
Collagen Forte is also suitable for cats.
As a general guide, give 1/2 tsp (1/2 a scoop) once daily in food.

Because cats can be challenging when it comes to supplements, always start with a smaller amount than recommended and build up gradually to the full dose. This will help with taste compliance; some cats may also respond well to a lower dose than stated.

Store below 30 C in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed.

Good product/Bad Delivery Options

I live in the U.S. and apparently sender request signature upon delivery. Obviously I wasn’t home and so package wasn’t delivered and the package wasn’t eligible for a redelivery so I had to go to the post office to pick it up. This is highly inconvenient to do every-time for a merely $50 item. I wish there was an option to just have the package delivered without need for a signature. Unless there are better delivery options it might be better to find other quality products unless going to the post office to pick it up doesn't bother you should no one be home to receive package.

The product seems great but obviously takes time to see results so only time will tell if it’s worth it.

As a clarification, we actually don’t request a signature for deliveries. In fact, all our shipments are marked with “ATL – Authority to Leave in a safe place” to help avoid exactly this sort of situation. Unfortunately, it seems that USPS often overrides this request, which is frustrating and unfortunately outside of our control.

Glad I kept going

This has been great for my 10y/o girl who after years of doing well on just a green lipped muscle supplement, starting showing signs of worsening arthritis, particularly going up stairs and jumping on furniture, some days waiting to be picked up and carried. I was worried about having to resort to pain meds, but decided to try this after listening to the podcast. After 3 months I was almost ready to give up but as there was still more left, I decided to keep going and I'm glad I did! It took 4 months to start working for my girl.
