At CanineCeuticals, Narelle Cooke and Bree Burns offer evidence-based, personalised health consultation services tailored to support  long-term canine health through integrative, functional approaches. Drawing on their combined expertise in naturopathy, nutrition, herbalism and practitioner education, alongside a shared passion for canine health, they provide comprehensive strategies tailored to each dog’s unique needs.

  • Narelle Cooke

    Narelle is a degree-qualified clinical naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist for both people and pets, with extensive clinical experience and advanced studies in animal health and nutrition. As the founder of CanineCeuticals, she blends a deep respect for natural medicine with a rigorous, evidence-based framework. A lifelong pet owner herself, with a current crew of three French Bulldogs, a Rottweiler, and a Burmese cat, Narelle understands the unique needs and challenges that come with raising and supporting animals through all life stages. Her mission is to empower pet parents with the tools and knowledge they need to optimise their pet’s long-term health and vitality.

  • Bree Burns

    Bree is a degree-qualified naturopath who began her career in clinical practice in 2012, with a focus on endocrine health and complex chronic conditions. She later transitioned into practitioner education, designing and delivering advanced training and educational content for leading companies in the human natural health industry. As a lifelong animal lover and proud owner of two Golden Retrievers, Bree’s interest in nutrition naturally extended to canine health. She is currently completing a Professional Canine Nutrition Certification and is passionate about helping dog owners understand the transformative role of species-appropriate diets and targeted supplementation in supporting long-term health.

Together, Narelle and Bree provide comprehensive, holistic, personalised guidance that addresses the root causes of health issues rather than just the symptoms. Their approach is grounded in the latest in canine health and nutrition science, and considers the whole dog—body, mind, and environment.

    The Initial Consultation is available via email, phone, or zoom, based on your preference.

    Whether you are searching for product recommendations for the following types of health conditions:

    • Minor skin irritations
    • Mild digestive issues
    • Mild joint pain or stiffness
    • Basic nutritional support
    • General wellness advice

    Or your canine companion's condition is more complex, such as:

    • Chronic allergies
    • Chronic skin conditions

    • Requires medication interaction review
    • Requires dietary analysis review

    We can tailor our support to your dog’s needs. 

    Additionally, a custom herbal medicine blend can be created to support the conditions discussed during this consultation, at an extra cost.

    If your dog’s situation is quite complex, please email us before purchasing a consultation for guidance on our ability to provide adequate support.

    Once our practitioner has assessed the condition, based on the information you have provided, you will receive an email with our recommended treatments (please allow up to 10 business days).

    Following the receipt of this email with our recommended treatments, we understand you may have some additional questions. So for up to 4 weeks following this date you will be able to receive complimentary support via email. Any additional questions beyond this time will require the purchase of a Follow-Up Consultation.

    $90

    Follow-Up Consultations are likewise available via email, phone, or zoom, based on your preference. This service is only available to those who have already received an Initial Consultation.

    Those who will benefit from Follow-Up Consultations will be pet owners that require ongoing personalised support over an extended period of time.

    Follow-Up Consultations also allow for careful monitoring of your dog’s treatment plan. It enables you to provide valuable feedback to us on how your dog is responding to recommended treatments, and also gives you the opportunity to ask any additional questions that may have come up since starting the treatment plan. 

    Likewise, these appointments permit us to make any adjustments to your recommended treatment plan to ensure that your dog is achieving the best possible health outcomes.

    For new clients, we would always recommend the first Follow-Up Consultation be booked no later than 8 weeks after the Initial Consultation. From there, the timing of any subsequent Follow-Up appointments will depend on your dog’s health needs and the degree of responsiveness to treatment.
