Throughout history Bacopa has been associated with a variety of health benefits including heightened learning capacity, promoting memory and concentration, and as a nerve tonic for psychological disorders and nervous debility. Human and animal studies have shown that supplementation with Bacopa helps to reduce stress (as shown by reduced cortisol levels), anxiety, depression, irritability, restlessness and hyperactivity.

Passionflower has a long history of use in the treatment of hysteria, general nervous agitation, insomnia and nervous gastrointestinal complaints. Passionflower is widely used as a general relaxant. Its activity in the central nervous system has mild sedative and minor pain-relieving qualities, and it is successfully used for a restless and overactive mind.

Also commonly known as Ashwagandha, Withania is a powerful adaptogen with the ability to support the nervous system, particularly nervous irritability and exhaustion, by its supportive action on the adrenal glands. Traditionally considered a tonic to the nervous system, it has been known to help with cognition and concentration. While it is known to help with overall relaxation, it will not cause sedation.

Skullcap has traditionally been used primarily as a nerve tonic and mild sedative. It was also used in the treatment of seizures, epilepsy, hysteria, nervousness, and gastroenteritis.  Skullcap is also used for pain and to relax smooth muscle.

Rhodiola has been used as a medicinal herb for centuries and is well-regarded for building strength, stamina and vitality. Rhodiola has potent adaptogenic properties and studies have shown it to be beneficial in reducing states of anxiety and depression, while also enhancing learning, concentration, memory and mood. Many animal studies have found the herb to modulate the stress response and have a relaxing effect on the central nervous system.

Californian Poppy has traditionally been used in Western herbal medicine to calm nerves, promote deep sleep and reduce nervous tension and anxiety.

To provide your dog with the highest quality human-grade herbal tonics, I sometimes need to switch between suppliers. Each manufacturing company has their own unique processing techniques that can result in the final product being a different colour or viscosity. This difference in appearance in no way reduces the quality, strength or efficacy of the product.

Unfortunately hasn’t helped

I have tried both the CC Stress Ease and the CC Relax, using bottle til it finished and then using the other product’s bottle. Unfortunately we’ve seen no improvement in our hyper, easily stimulated boy. He still throws his 32kg body at the front window when anyone walks up our driveway. I was really hoping one or other product would work, but unfortunately not.
I will note that the dog has happily eaten his meals with each product on top, which is a big plus for them.

No more anxiety meds

My Am Staf had a rough start to life, which left her with some anxiety. I wanted to try this out in conjunction with her meds not thinking it would be able to replace them. Our vet has now slowly weened her off them and she is doing incredibly now, so much more calm and happy.

Stress Ease

I have been using Stress Ease on my Border Terrier for approximately two (2) years and have found a huge difference in Maddi's anxiety. Narelle did have to tweak the evening Stress Ease for her (and me). Very rarely I do need to add 4 drops of Relax into her meals but gosh this has not been necessary for about 4 months now. Maddi takes about 6 other of Narelle's products. Bless you Narelle for being Maddi (and my) guardian angel. XX Mal and Maddi

Has improved the memory of my senior dog with dementia

I am so pleased with the results of using Stress-Ease for my 14yo dog who has had Canine Cognitive Dysfunction ('doggy dementia') progressing over the last year. I started him on Lions Mane first, then also added MCT oil to his protocol, and was pleased to see a reduction in his symptoms from that combination, then when I added the Stress Ease to the mix there was a really noticeable improvement in his wellbeing. He regained a lot of mental clarity, and the mindless, worried, 'off with the pixies' wandering and pacing around stopped. He returned to being much more himself, and his ability to connect with me came back. Prior to starting the Stress-Ease we would go for a walk on our (fully fenced) home property he would lope off to investigate something interesting and then not remember where I was, he couldn't find his way back to me. After going on to the Stress Ease, he now goes off to inspect whatever's caught his attention and when he's done he runs back to me, with a smile on his face. It's such a relief to see him back to being much more himself. His quality of life has improved, and so has mine! A big reduction in his anxiety, and a big improvement in his memory makes us both so much happier. :)

Amazing changes noticed by many!

There has been a huge change in our nervous pups behaviour since starting on the Stress Reduction Care Pack. She is so much calmer, which makes taking her out in public more enjoyable for both of us. People who have known her for a while have also remarked on the change – family and friends, trainers and groomer who clips nails. I'm so pleased I found Canine Ceuticals. I can't thank Narelle enough for her knowledge and assistance.
