Description

BACOPA

Throughout history Bacopa has been associated with a variety of health benefits including heightened learning capacity, promoting memory and concentration, and as a nerve tonic for psychological disorders and nervous debility. Human and animal studies have shown that supplementation with Bacopa helps to reduce stress (as shown by reduced cortisol levels), anxiety, depression, irritability, restlessness and hyperactivity.

PASSIONFLOWER

Passionflower has a long history of use in the treatment of hysteria, general nervous agitation, insomnia and nervous gastrointestinal complaints. Passionflower is widely used as a general relaxant. Its activity in the central nervous system has mild sedative and minor pain-relieving qualities, and it is successfully used for a restless and overactive mind.

WITHANIA

Also commonly known as Ashwagandha, Withania is a powerful adaptogen with the ability to support the nervous system, particularly nervous irritability and exhaustion, by its supportive action on the adrenal glands. Traditionally considered a tonic to the nervous system, it has been known to help with cognition and concentration. While it is known to help with overall relaxation, it will not cause sedation.

SKULLCAP

Skullcap has traditionally been used primarily as a nerve tonic and mild sedative. It was also used in the treatment of seizures, epilepsy, hysteria, nervousness, and gastroenteritis.  Skullcap is also used for pain and to relax smooth muscle.

RHODIOLA

Rhodiola has been used as a medicinal herb for centuries and is well-regarded for building strength, stamina and vitality. Rhodiola has potent adaptogenic properties and studies have shown it to be beneficial in reducing states of anxiety and depression, while also enhancing learning, concentration, memory and mood. Many animal studies have found the herb to modulate the stress response and have a relaxing effect on the central nervous system.

CALIFORNIAN POPPY

Californian Poppy has traditionally been used in Western herbal medicine to calm nerves, promote deep sleep and reduce nervous tension and anxiety.

INGREDIENTS

Bacopa monnieri (Bacopa)
Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha)
Passiflora incarnata (Passionflower)
Scutellaria lateriflora (Skullcap)
Rhodiola rosea (Rhodiola)
Eschscholzia californica (Californian poppy)

Some batches may contain small amounts of alcohol used in the extraction process

To provide your dog with the highest quality human-grade herbal tonics, I sometimes need to switch between suppliers. Each manufacturing company has their own unique processing techniques that can result in the final product being a different colour or viscosity. This difference in appearance in no way reduces the quality, strength or efficacy of the product.

Stress Ease - Rose the Weimaraner (Mirella Fallon)

hi there again! both products i purchased were given to Rose. I think it may have had a small effect on her anxiety but she is still over the top when people come to the house and had no improvement whatsoever at any time with herwakefulness. we do live next to a creek with many birds, critters, poteroos, wallabies who are very active and sometimes incredibly noisy at night so i think the products did help her relax but not strong enough to keep her sleeping regardless of what is going on outside. we have had 3 previous dogs in this house and environment and never had any problem with sleeping. I think its just in her nature to be alert and anxious. But - IF YOU have any suggestions about other things and products i will be very grateful for your support. I love you all and BIG DOG and i know the canine ceuticals are a wonderful product too. Take care everyong and thank you, Mirella

Crazy Itching

I’ll never be really sure of the origin of Pepi’s severe skin condition when he was a pup. Flea allergy? Vaccination reaction? Food? The vet wanted to go down the heavy pharmaceutical bombing and just at the right time Pepi’s puppy trainer recommended Narelle at Canine Ceuticals. The rest is history, as they say. Narelle headed straight to her gut healing protocol. It took a few weeks for recovery because of the severity of his rash, but progress was so positive. He’s now nearly two and a half and in that time has only had one or two minor flareups - quickly treated with Narelle’s magic potions.
Narelle’s response to an email is unbelievably prompt. 🤗

Unfortunately hasn’t helped

I have tried both the CC Stress Ease and the CC Relax, using bottle til it finished and then using the other product’s bottle. Unfortunately we’ve seen no improvement in our hyper, easily stimulated boy. He still throws his 32kg body at the front window when anyone walks up our driveway. I was really hoping one or other product would work, but unfortunately not.
I will note that the dog has happily eaten his meals with each product on top, which is a big plus for them.

No more anxiety meds

My Am Staf had a rough start to life, which left her with some anxiety. I wanted to try this out in conjunction with her meds not thinking it would be able to replace them. Our vet has now slowly weened her off them and she is doing incredibly now, so much more calm and happy.

Stress Ease

I have been using Stress Ease on my Border Terrier for approximately two (2) years and have found a huge difference in Maddi's anxiety. Narelle did have to tweak the evening Stress Ease for her (and me). Very rarely I do need to add 4 drops of Relax into her meals but gosh this has not been necessary for about 4 months now. Maddi takes about 6 other of Narelle's products. Bless you Narelle for being Maddi (and my) guardian angel. XX Mal and Maddi
