Description

Organic psyllium husks

  • Supports dogs with variable stools (constipation or loose).

Inulin and Larch arabinogalactan

  • Fibres with potent prebiotic properties which help to support the health of the gut lining, enhance nutrient absorption and support a healthy immune system. 


DigeZyme® 

  • A unique blend of 5 specific enzymes.
  • Enhances digestion and nutrient absorption by aiding in the breakdown of carbohydrates, cellulose (plant cell walls), fats, proteins and lactose (found in dairy foods).


Lactospore® 

  • Lactospore® consists of the specific spore-forming bacteria, Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856. B. cogulans is capable of surviving a dog’s highly acidic stomach, allowing it to flourish in the intestines and work against less desirable bacterial species.
  • Formulations with LactoSpore do not require refrigeration and can be stored at room temperature.


Chamomile and Fennel

  • Herbal digestive aids traditionally used to assist in the relief of various gastrointestinal disturbances.

DigeZyme® (consisting of alpha amylase, acid protease, cellulase, lactase, lipase)
Lactospore® (Bacillus coagulans MTCC5856)
Matricaria chamomilla (flower) ext. (Chamomile)
Foeniculum vulgare (seed) ext. (Fennel)

DIRECTIONS FOR USE & STORAGE

1 scoop = 2.5 grams

Body weight < 9 kg 10 - 24 kg 25 - 40 kg > 40 kg
Dose ½ scoop 1 scoop 2 scoops 3 scoops
Give the recommended dose once daily in food or as recommended by your animal healthcare professional. Amounts listed are a guide only.

Some dogs may need more or less than recommended for optimal outcomes. Ensure adequate water intake across the day. Start with a low dose and build up gradually.

CAT DOSING
Gut Protect is also suitable for cats.
As a general guide, give 1/4 scoop once daily in food.

Because cats can be challenging when it comes to supplements, always start with a smaller amount than recommended and build up gradually to the full dose. This will help with taste compliance; some cats may also respond well to a lower dose than stated.

Storage

Store below 25 C in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed.
Keep out of reach of children.

CAUTIONS

Psyllium should not be used for dogs with partial or complete bowel obstruction or impaction.

Use with caution in pregnant or lactating animals as safe use in pregnant and lactating animals has not been established.

Thank you CanineCeuticals team!

I have three small dogs, Toby, Jet and Pepper. My groomer told me about Narelle expertise and the CanineCeuticals products, so I felt confident and reassured to look at the CanineCeuticals website. I emailed Narelle about my concerns with my Toy Poodle x Shih Tzu putting on a little extra weight, mind you she is tiny but I want the best for her. I was surprised how quickly Narelle responded to my email, and the valuable information on her suggested products for Pepper to take. I purchase the Gut Protect for Pepper but have also introduced the Collagen Forte for Pepper’s joint health. (Prior to knowing about CanineCeuticals I had taken Pepper to the Vets and had X-Rays done just to see her knees and hips were okay. I have to say in a short time of introducing Pepper to Gut Protect and Collagen Forte she no longer has that favouring pinching knee hop going on the she makes quick turns, which is w o n d e r f u l.

I have introduced the Gut Protect and Collagen Forte into both Toby and Jet's meals as well, with great results. They all have a soft, shiny and manageable coats, and I have noticed the difference in a short time. I have included the Vetactiv8 Dental Health into their meals as well. Jet in particular often had bad breath. That no longer is an issue.

I am grateful to Narelle and the team for the online support that is soundly back and I would highly recommend any of the CanineCeuticals Products into your pets regime.

First of all I want to say thank you for producing great products! I have two dogs, one adult dog and a younger puppy, they’re both on gut protect, I’m no expert in canine nutritions, but I can tell they’re doing amazing since I started giving them. I’m also giving them beef broth on a daily basis, they love it after work out or play. Thank you and I love to try other products as well! Absolutely recommend!

Gut Protect really helped my dogs.

We have had excellent stool health since being on gut protect. Even after a Dog show when the dogs may have more treats in their system than usual, or fattier treats, the stool is firm ! Wonderful product ! I would recommend to anyone!
