Description
Cognition Care is a high-quality medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil sourced exclusively from non-GMO coconuts. This pure and targeted blend contains 60% caprylic acid (C8) and 40% capric acid (C10)—the most efficient MCTs for energy metabolism and neurological support. Clinical evidence suggests that MCT oil may help support dogs with seizure disorders and can be safely used alongside prescribed seizure medications.
Unlike long-chain fats, MCTs are rapidly absorbed and transported directly to the liver, where they are converted into ketones. Ketones provide a readily available fuel source, particularly beneficial for brain function, sustained energy, and metabolic support.
Cognition Care is ideal for senior dogs, active dogs, and those with specific energy requirements. As dogs age, their ability to utilise glucose as a primary energy source for the brain may decline. Start with a lower dose and gradually increase to avoid digestive upset. Can be added to meals or given directly. For best results, use daily.
Suitable for dogs with pancreatic insufficiency, malabsorption issues, and sensitive stomachs.
CAT DOSING
Cognition Care is also suitable for cats. As a general guide, give up to ¼ tsp (1.25 mL) once daily in food.
Because cats can be challenging when it comes to supplements, always start with a smaller amount than recommended and build up gradually to the full dose. This will help with taste compliance; some cats may also respond well to a lower dose than stated.
